Wholesome cake. Not too sweet.

1/2 cup Muscavado sugar

1/2 cup yoghurt

1/2 tsp vanilla

1/2 cup walnuts

8 chopped dates

1 cup wholemeal flour

1/2 cup almond meal

1/2 tsp baking soda

1 apple, grated, including skin

preparation

1.  Mix oil and sugar.

2.  Add yoghurt, vanilla, walnuts and dates.

3.  Mix in flour, almond meal baking soda and grated apple.

4.  Pour into square/round pan. Spinkle some extra sugar on top.

5.  Bake for 30-40 minutes at 180C.
