1 cup all purpose flour

2 tablespoons sugar

1 tbsp baking powder

2 tsp ground ginger

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp ground allspice

2 eggs, lightly beaten

1 3/4 cups buttermilk

1/3 cup molasses

1/4 cup vegetable oil

Maple syrup

1.  Mix together in a large bowl the whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, sugar, ginger, salt, baking powder, and allspice.

2.  In a medium bowl combine eggs, buttermilk, molasses and oil. Add the egg mixture all at ounce to flour mixture, stir and let it chill for up to 24 hours.

3.  For each pancake pour 1/4 cup batter on a heavy skillet and spread batter. Cook over medium heat for 4 minutes on each side.

4.  Serve the pancakes with maple syrup
