Are you tired of the price of vanilla these days? Me too! A friend of mine years back gave me a bottle of homemade vanilla for a gift, unfortunately I had two little babies and no time to cook and no appreciation of that thoughtful gift. I ran into that old friend not too long ago and instantly homemade vanilla came to my mind--weird, I know, but it got me thinking about making it on my own. With the bottled price being so high these days, I surely thought it was a huge undertaking to make it on my own. How wrong I was, it really couldn't be easier, the hardest part is waiting the 2 months for it to cure.
