Tomato Salsa

This is a very good fresh salsa recipe. Serve with tortilla chips, crackers, vegetables, fish, chicken or eggs.

1 1/2 cups finely diced ripe tomatoes

1/2 cup finely diced white onion, rinsed in a sieve under cold water

2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons fresh lime juice

1 teaspoon minced jalapeno chile pepper [with seeds]

1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon kosher salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
