Tasty Sweet N sour Pomfret

A Fried pomfret with tasty sweet and sour sauce.

1 large pomfret (dark pomfret - clean and cut into 3 or four segments.

1-2 tablespoon of turmeric powder

Salt to taste

Some Chinese parsley

1 large onion (slice)

Oil for frying

Some chilly and tomato sauce (1-2 tablespoon)

Blended Ingredients

3-4 red chillies

2-3 green bird's eye chillies

1/4 inch ginger

1/4 inch galangal

1-2 cloves of garlic

1 lemon grass (slice)

1 large onion (half/quarter)

1.  Rub turmeric and salt all over the fish and leave for 5-10 minutes.

2.  Heat up wok with some oil just nice to cover the fish and fry it till golden brown.

3.  In another saucepan, heat up with 1-2 tablespoon of oil and saute the blended ingredients till fragrant.

4.  Add in the chilly and tomato sauce, stir to combine.

5.  Add in a little water and simmer till sauce is a little thickens and add in some slice large onions.

6.  Pour the sauce over the fried fish and garnish with some cut parsley.
