Strawberry Shortcake

I have many straberries after bought from fruits and vegetables groccery. Some Strawberries, we ate fresh and others I make Strawberry cake. This is Strawberry Shortcake old recipe. But still yummy.

5 tbsp butter / margarine.

165 gr all purpose flour.

280 gr icing sugar.

1 1/4 tsp Baking Powder.

1/2 tsp salt.

1 1/2 tsp vanilla (extract vanilla).

2 eggs.

130 ml fresh milk.

1/2 tsp grated lemon zest.

Whipped cream.

Strawberries, thinly sliced.

1.  Preheat oven with 180°C. Use baking pand with 20 x 20 cm and put baking paper.

2.  Mix all purpose flour, icing sugar, baking powder and salt

3.  Whisk butter/margarine and vanilli until soft and smooth. Add eggs, fresh milk and lemon zest, mix until combine evenly.

4.  Add mixture of flour and stir gently until combine evenly.

5.  Pour into baking tin and bake until mature for 30 minures. Let it cool in room temperature, before apply decoration.

6.  Halve the cake into 2 top bottom.

7.  Whisk whipped cream until thick and apply to cake. Arange the sliced of strawberry and apply whipped cream. Put another cake.

8.  Cover all of surface of cake with whipped cream.

9.  Ready to be served.
