Spinach with minced chicken

It's a very easy, tasty and healthy dish. You get the same spinach in a different way.

1 bunch Spinach

200gms Minced chicken

1 big onion finely chopped

1 small tomato finely chopped

2 Green chilies

1 table spoon Ginger paste

1 table spoon Garlic Paste

Salt as per taste

1/2 table spoon Turmeric powder

1 table spoon Cumin Powder

1 table spoon Coriander Powder

1/2 table spoon Red chili Powder (optional)

2 table spoon Oil

whole Cumin seeds

4-5 Blackpepper

2-3 Cardamom pods

2-3 Bayleaves

pinch a of Sugar

Garam masala

Ghee (optional)

1/2 table spoon Garam masala

1/2 table spoon Ghee (optional)

1.  Preparation

2.  Wash the keema/minced chicken

3.  Blanch the Spinach

4.  In a bowl take the Ginger paste, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Red chili Powder, salt and turmeric powder and mix with water to make a smooth paste

5.  Method

6.  Heat a pan with 2 table spoon of oil.

7.  Temper with Cumin seeds, Blackpepper, cardamom pods and Bayleaves

8.  Add the chopped onion and tomato.

9.  Fry for 2 minutes in low flame

10.  Add garlic paste to the mix and again fry

11.  To it add the mixed spice

12.  Add a pinch of sugar

13.  Add 1 bowl of water and let the spices to cook

14.  When you see oil coming out from the spices add the minced chicken

15.  Cover and cook it in a low flame

16.  After 5-7 minutes open the lid and check and add the blanched spinach

17.  Again cover and cook for 5 minutes

18.  Open the lid and check whether the chicken is cooked or not.

19.  If it is cooked then increase the flame and let the water dry

20.  Now check for the salt. If needed add as per taste

21.  Add ½ table spoon of garam masala and ghee.
