Sesame Chicken

Malaysia is famous for its street food dishes, this is one of those dishes that can be made within 15 min. This recipe is modified from I added couple of extra stuffs to make it even more tasty. If you like sesame flavor then this dish is for you. The additional sesame seeds gives you little bit of crunch.

1/2 kg Chicken

1 tbsp Ginger, minced

1 tbsp Garlic, minced

1 tsp Chilli flakes

1 tbsp Soya Sauce

1 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Sugar

Salt to taste

2 tbsp Sesame oil

leaves Coriander for garnishing

1 tbsp Sesame seeds

1.  Heat oil in a wok,Add in ginger, garlic and fry for 30 sec.

2.  Add in the chicken and sear on all sides. Add in soya sauce, chili flakes, sugar, salt and mix well.

3.  Cover it and let it cook on a slow flame till the chicken is done. If it gets too dry add a splash of water.

4.  Lastly sprinkle over some pepper powder. Garnish with coriander leaves and sesame seeds.

Cooks' note:
Serve hot with rice.
