8 ounces fresh or frozen peeled and deveined cooked shrimp

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 tbsp snipped fresh chives

1 tbsp fresh mint

1 tbsp snipped fresh basil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup cooked crabmeat

1 cup chopped roma tomatoes

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1 8 ounce loaf baguette french bread

ground black pepper

preparation

1.  Thaw shrimp if frozen, preheat broiler, rinse shrimp and pat dry. Chop shrimp and set aside.

2.  In a medium bowl combine 1 tbsp of the oil, lemon juice, chives, basil, mint and garlic. Add shrimp, crabmeat, tomatoes, onion and toss gently.

3.  Cut bread into 40 thin slices. Arrange bread on a large baking sheet. Brush one side of slices with the remaining 2 tbsp of oil. Sprinkle with pepper.

4.  Broil 3-4 inches from the heat for 3 minutes turning once.

5.  Spoon seafood mixture onto oiled sides of toasted bread.
