2 cloves garlic

1 piece thumbsized of Ginger

400g tomatoes or passata

1 red pepper


1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp ground coriander

1 tsp ground caraway

1 tsp black pepper

1 tsp chilli powder

1/2 tsp tumeric

1.  Heat some oil in a pan

2.  Fry the spices until the aromas are released

3.  Finley chop the garlic, onion and ginger or blitz in a blender

4.  Fry the onion, garlic and ginger

5.  Add in the pepper and mushrooms, fry gently

6.  Add in the prawns and fry gently

7.  Add the tomatoes and simmer gently for 10-15 minutes

8.  Serve with rice or naan bread
