This fragrant powder gives you a way to add all that good mushroom flavor to a dish without having to make a stock. You can, of course, do this with other dried mushrooms as well, but these have the most flavor.

1.  Simply take a small handful of dried porcini mushrooms and grind them in a spice mill until fine. Store the powder in a jar with a tight-fitting lid and use it to season sauces, soups, and vegetable dishes of all kinds.
