This is the recipe my mom has made ever since I was a little girl. It only has 4 ingredients and they cookies are hard to resist!

preparation

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.  Mix peanut butter, sugar, and egg until thoroughly combined. Gently mix in the chocolate chips.

3.  Spray a baking sheet with non-stick. Gather a small handful of dough into your hand and roll into a ball. Place on baking sheet. Repeat until all the dough is rolled.

4.  Using a fork, flatten each ball with a criss cross pattern.

5.  Bake for 10-15 minutes or until the edges are brown.

Cooks' note:
Allow these cookies to cool completely, if you don't, they will just fall apart!
