Quick and easy smoothie recipe containing banana and a granny smith apple using one my favorite small kitchen appliances The Magic Bullet.

1.  Break banana up by hand into small pieces and add to Magic Bullet tall cup.

2.  Use cross blade, add a splash of water to help in blending and blend till banana turns into a nice thin consistency.

3.  Core the Granny Smith apple and cut into small bits and pieces, adding it to the tall cup with the blended banana.

4.  Blend ingredients again with same cross blade until it turns into a thin consistency.

5.  Add whole or crushed ice to tall cup, and blend again till the ice is chunks are finely blended with ingredients.

6.  Enjoy the smoothie in the same Magic Bullet tall cup using a lip ring!

Cooks' note:
Can be refrigerated for a few hours, great pick me up on a hot summer day.
