2 clove garlic, peeled

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cup buttermilk

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons snipped fresh italian (flat-leaf) parsley

2 tablespoons snipped fresh chives

3 tablespoons thinly sliced green onion

1 1/2 teaspoon white vinegar

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/3 teaspoon ground black pepper

4 heads butter head (Boston or Bibb) lettuce, torn

1 cup yellow pear-shape or cherry tomatoes, halved

1.  To make the dressing cut a garlic clove and smash it with the side of a wide knife and sprinkle salt on top of the garlic. Mash the garlic into a paste and start adding the ingredients of mayonnaise, parsley, sour cream, buttermilk, green onion, paprika, vinegar, chives, and pepper.

2.  In a salad bowl start combing the tomatoes and lettuce served with the dressing.
