250 grams bhindi/okra chopped into 1 cm thick piece

2 whole garlic pod crushed coarsely

3 medium size onion cut into long

1 tbsp oil

salt to taste

1 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp cumin seed

salt to taste

1.  Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds. Onc eit starts to splutter add 1/2 the garlic and onion.

2.  Cook till it turns pink in color.

3.  Add bhindi and mix well.

4.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes on medium flame.

5.  Open the lid. Add salt , red chili powder and mix well.

6.  If the bhindi turns slimy, cook with lid open.

7.  When you see bhindi is almost done, add the remaining garlic and mix well. Cook for 2 minutes more.

8.  Serve Hot..The garlic (cooked and fresh ones give a good taste to the bhindi).

9.  Do not add any other spices. It curbs the garlic taste
