preparation

1.  Roll the dough into balls.

2.  Arrange the balls 0n a sheet pan and use your hand to flatten them into 2-inch rounds.

3.  Press a finger into the center of each of the rounds to make an indentation for the jelly.

4.  Spoon just enough jelly into the holes so that it's level with the top.

5.  Bake the cookies until they are just slightly pale brown on the edges.
