1/2 cup barbecue sauce

1 small onion, chopped

1/4 flour

1 tablespoon prepared mustard

1 tablespoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

8 ounces Cheddar cheese, cut in 24 cubes (3/4 inch each)

18 pieces dill pickle

12 cherry tomatoes

preparation

1.  Mix together the ground beef, barbecue sauce, onion, flour, mustard, salt and pepper.

2.  Divide mixture into 24 portions of approximately 1/4 cup each; form into meatballs and place a cube of cheese in center of each.

3.  Thread 4 meatballs alternately with 3 pieces of dill pickle on each of six 15-inch metal skewers.

4.  Place kabobs on greased rack in broiler pan so the surface of meat is 3 to 4 inches from heat; broil at moderate temperature 18-22 minutes turning and brushing with some barbecue sauce.

5.  Add 2 cherry tomatoes at the end of each skewer.
