Fresh Cucumber and Tomato Salad

I love this recipe on a hot summer day it keeps me refreshed. This salad is great because of of its health benefits from the ingredients.It is very easy and quick to prepare.

1 large tomato diced

1/2 large of a Cucumber

2 small finely chopped parsley branches from my homegrown garden

1/3 tsp of Olive Oil

1 pinch of salt

1/2 of a lemon

1 pinch of pepper

1 pinch of garlic powder (optional)

1.  Prep

2.  Wash all the vegetables

3.  Dice the tomato and cucumber

4.  Place in a bowl

5.  Add parsley

6.  Add garlic

7.  Add salt

8.  Add black pepper

9.  Mix ingredients

10.  Squeeze lemon using a small strainer to catch the seeds

11.  Mix and serve

12.  Ingredients used in my recipe were previously chilled.

13.  If your ingredients are fresh from the market and not chilled, place in refrigerator for a couple of minutes before serving.
