preparation

1.  Start by cutting out and discarding the fennel stalks. Remove any outer layers from bulbs and cut a thin slice from each bulb. Cut them into 1/3 inch thick.

2.  Peel oranges and cut them into 1/3 inch thick slices. In the same bowl whisk together the 1/3 cup juice mixed with the oil and the balsamic vinegar.

3.  At last add lettuce in the bowl and place the orange and fennel slices on top. Drizzle the dressing over the salad.
