Egg Sambal (Sambal Telur)

This is one of the Easy Peasy Recipe...It hardly took me 10 min to make apart from the cooking time of the eggs..This is a easy egg preparation that is cooked in a simple sambal paste..This is one of the simple Malaysian style egg dish

Onion-1 sliced into rounds

Oil-2 tblspn

tsp Sugar-1

Salt to taste

For Sambal:

in Dry Red chilli-4 soaked water

Shallots / Sambar Onion-5

cloves Garlic-5

inch Ginger-1 piece

Tamarind juice-1 tblspn

1.  Grind all the ingrediants for the sambal to a smooth paste.

2.  In a wok heat oil,Add in the sambal paste and cook till oil separates.Season with salt and sugar.Add in tamarind juice and cook for 3 min.

3.  Add in sliced onion and toss well for 2 min.

4.  Now add in the eggs and mix till well coated.

5.  Serve with rice.
