Dates and Nuts Bars : Sugar free, Oil free and Cooking free

Healthy and energetic bite size bars which will keep you going for the day. They are nutty, they are chewy and they are awesome.

2 cups Dates (pitted) : cut into chunks

1/4 cup Raisins :

1 cup Almonds ( dry roasted and unsalted ) :

2 tbsp Cashews :

4 Cardamom powder : pods

12-15 Saffron : threads

small Black pepper : a pinch

small Salt : a pinch

1.  Take food processor out. Add roasted almonds, cashews, black pepper, salt, cardamom powder, saffron strands and blitz it till it becomes coarsely chopped. Don't make it powdery form.

2.  Take it out in a big bowl. Now add chopped dates and raisins and blitz till it is chopped and comes together.

3.  You need your muscle power now :). Get your hands in it. Mix well and bring the dates and raisins and dry mixture together. Oh I forgot you can mix it in food processor as well ;) .

4.  Take a big square piece of parchment paper. Put the dry nuts dough in the center of it. Cover it with one side and press with your hands to pat it down and stretch to give a log shape. Make it as thick or thin.

5.  Now wrap it in parchment paper from all sides. Put in the fridge for 1/2-1 hr.

6.  Take it out and cut into 1 inch treats and devour :). You can save them in air tight container in fridge.

Cooks' note:
No cooking required. No oil needed. You can alter the condiments and nuts to your choice.
