Custard egg pudding

Wonderful dessert!! Being an owner of poultry forum, my grandpa always used to stuff refrigerator with loads of eggs. My mom used to prepare this dessert twice a week and we used to relish it. She still says, it’s only the egg pudding she fed us with made us this strong :-D….. Why don’t we make our kids strong then, in a yummy way. Try it!!

3 Eggs

1 cup Milk (cold)

3 1/2 tbsp Sugar

2 tbsp Custard powder

1 tsp vanilla essence

1/2 tsp elaichi powder (cardamom powder)

1.  Dissolve custard powder in milk.

2.  Break and drop eggs, custard milk, sugar, vanilla essence, elaichi powder in a blender or mixer.

3.  Blend for a minute.

4.  Take the egg and custard mixture in a steel bowl and put in a cooker filled with a glass of water.

5.  Close the lid and Steam it for 20 min without whistle.

6.  When done, remove the lid and check with a knife. If it’s done, the knife comes clean.

7.  Serve chilled. You can garnish it with jellies or fruits of your choice.
