Crunchy Granola With a Little Bit of Everything!

After making countless batches of granola, slowly improving it, I think I've come up with a winner. I've created a hearty granola that's full of sweets but won't ruin any diet!


Adjust your ingredient quantities here. Simply enter how many servings you need, and the ingredient quantity will update accordingly!

serves: 4

1 cup of Old Fashioned Oats

2 tbsp Peanut Butter (I've used both creamy and crunchy)

2 tbsp Honey

1/4 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Vanilla Extract

1/4 cup (or more!) of nuts of choice (I used almonds and peanuts)

2-4 tbsp of sweetened coconut

1.  Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

2.  Spray 2 cookie sheets with non-stick cooking spray and set 1 aside.

3.  Toast the chopped nuts and coconut for 5-10 minutes or until lightly brown on 1 of the cookie sheets. Set aside.

4.  Combine peanut butter and honey in a bowl and microwave 20-20 seconds.

5.  Stir the cinnamon and vanilla into the peanut butter and honey mixture.

6.  Add oats and stir until oats are completely covered by the wet ingredients.

7.  Add toasted ingredients to the oat and peanut butter mixture.

8.  Spread out the granola onto the prepared cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes or until granola is slightly browned.

9.  Let cool until granola is crunchy, or eat straight out of the oven!

Cooks' note:
If you want the granola to be crunchier, just cook for a little bit longer. Also, adding more nuts, coconut, chocolate chips, or your own ingredients won't mess up the granola. Adding your own ingredients will only make it better!
