Crock-Pot Corn Chowder

This simple yet delicious chunky soup is comforting on any cold winter night.

1 can creamed style corn

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 c diced ham

1 3/4 c frozen corn

1 c frozen shredded hash brown potatoes

1 large onion, chopped

2 1/4 c milk

2 tbsp butter

2 tsp dried parsley, extra for garnish

Salt and Pepper to taste

1.  Mix all ingredients together in crock-pot, cook on low for 6 hours. (My crock-pot doesn't heat fast enough, so I cooked mine on high for 1 hour and then lowered the temp.)

2.  Garnish servings with extra parsley.

Cooks' note:
This is a great make ahead. Mix all the ingredients the night before and refrigerate. In the morning, place in crock-pot before you leave.
