If you are looking for a wasabi dip with extra flavor, then this is the appetizer dip for you…lemongrass & ginger paste add a depth of flavor & complexity that truly make this a popular dip at any party! The dip only has 5 ingredients & can be made in just a few minutes in a food processor…serve with Edamame Hummus, store-bought fresh spring rolls & Apparition Cocktails for an impromptu cocktail party that will be a hit among your friends! This dip can also be used as a sandwich spread to give cucumber sandwiches a little extra flavor & kick…experiment with this dip…I think you will find quite a few uses for it!

24 ounces lite or fat-free cream cheese, softened

1/2 tube wasabi paste (about 2 tablespoons)

1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Ginger Paste

1 tablespoon Gourmet Garden Lemongrass Paste

black sesame seeds

Serve with...

1 large bag kettle chips

crispy wontons from your local Chinese take-out

1 package rice crackers

preparation

1.  The day before serving, place the cream cheese in a food processor or mixer. Process/beat until smooth.

2.  Add the wasabi paste & process till smooth.

3.  Add the ginger paste & lemongrass paste to the cream cheese-wasabi mixture (a). Process/beat till smooth. Adjust & add more wasabi/ginger/lemongrass paste as needed according to your taste (b).

4.  Let the Creamy Lemongrass Ginger Wasabi Dip sit overnight so the flavors can meld. Serve with kettle potato chips & crispy wonton chips. Garnish with black or white sesame seeds.
