Cranberry Chocolate Banana Bread

This is a healthier version of banana bread. So delicious!

2/3 cup dried cranberries

1/4 cup butter, softened

3/4 cup sugar

2 eggs

3 bananas, mashed

1/2 cup sour cream

2 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups flour

1/3 cup baking cocoa

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1/4 tsp salt

1.  Put dried cranberries in a bowl and pour hot water over them. Let them sit for 15 minutes.

2.  In a large bowl beat butter with sugar for 2 minutes. Add eggs, beating well after each addition.

3.  Combine bananas, sour cream and vanilla. In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Combine with the banana mixture.

4.  Drain cranberries and fold into the batter.

5.  Bake in a greased 5x5-inch loan pan for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.
