1 T mixed scallion, garlic and onion, chopped

1 dozen raw oysters, cut up

1 dozen raw clams, cut up

3 cups light cream salt, cayenne pepper to taste

1/4 cup chopped parsley

preparation

1.  Heat in a pan 2 tablespoons butter and the oil.

2.  Add the scallion, garlic and onion.

3.  Cook slowly for 2 minutes, then add the cut-up oysters and clams.

4.  Pour on the cream and season with the salt and cayenne pepper.

5.  Bring very lightly to a boil,then add, bit by bit, the remaining butter and the chopped parsley.

6.  Simmer a few minutes and serves 4-6
