Chicken Tikka Masala

Yesterday I posted Chicken Tikka recipe which is a dry one... Today I am posting a gravy version of it..That is Chicken Tikka cooked in a spicy tomato sauce...And my favorite is this one... The one thing in this recipe is it is a two step recipe...First you have to make chicken tikka and then add that in this lovely sauce... If you want chicken tikka recipe..Check this.. The main flavouring in this dish is butter...Since everything is done in butter it tasted and smelled awesome...But it is loaded with extra fat and calories... I know anything fatty is delicious..Right? I served this dish with Malabar Ghee Rice...And it tasted awesome... Without any more delay I deliver the recipe...

Chicken Tikka

1 Onion - finely chopped

3 Tomato - pureed

1 tbs Ginger garlic paste

1 tsp Garam masala powder

1 tsp Red Chilli powder

Salt to taste

Cilantro for Garnishing

1/2 cup Milk

4 tbs Butter

1.  Heat butter in a kadai...Add in ginger garlic paste, onions and salt..Cook this till golden brown..

2.  Add in Red chilli powder and garam masala powder and mix well..

3.  Pour in tomato puree and cook till oil separates from this..

4.  Add in chicken tikka pieces and pour in some water..

5.  Cover this and simmer for 10-15 mins until all flavour gets together..

6.  Now add in milk and simmer for 5 mins..

7.  Garnish with cilantro and mix well.

8.  Serve with rice or roti.
