Chicken Croquette

For the chicken

300g chicken breast fillets

4 cups of breadcrumbs

a couple of springs of fresh parsley

1 egg


2 tbsp white sesam seeds

For the chili sauce

1 small red pepper

1/2 fresh red chili pepper (even more if you like spicy)

1/2 red onion

100g tomato sauces

1/2 cup of water


olive oil

1 tsp paprika

1.  Preheat the oven to 200°.

2.  In the mean time chop the onion and put into a saucepan with oil and a ¼ of cup of water.

3.  Chop the pepper and the chili pepper in small pieces. When the onion it will be soft put together the pepper. Let it cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the tomato sauces and let it cooked gently heat for 20 min, add the cup of water and stiring once in a while.

4.  Chop the chicken breast in small pieces (3-4cm x 1cm). Mix the breadcrumbs with sesame, salt, and chopped parsley.

5.  Dunk the chicken into the beaten egg and transfer them to the breadcrumbs mix.

6.  Heat two spoon of olive oil in a large frying pan.

7.  Fry the chicken each side till golden. Put the pan into the oven for 5’ into the oven. (If you can’t use the same pan, use a baking pan with baking paper).

8.  When the sauce it will be ready, you can taste it for the salt and add some paprika.

9.  Let it cool off into a bowl of cold water.

10.  Keep the chicken warm till you will serve it.

Cooks' note:
Avoid the spices for kids and this will be the perfect dish to make for kids too.
