This is a healthy take on a classic kid favorite! It has only natural sugar sources and a secret ingredient to replace the butter! Your family won't even realize they are eating something good for them because these are so delicious. 1/2 Avocado

1 cup Unsweetened Applesauce

1 tsp Vanilla extract

1/3 cup Raw honey

1/3 cup Palm sugar

1 tsp Baking soda

3 cups Wheat-free Rolled Oats

2 cups Gluten-free Brown Rice Krispies

1/2 cup Mini Chocolate Chips

preparation

1.  Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees

2.  Spray a 13x9" casserole dish with non-stick cooking spray

3.  Mix all dry ingredients together except for chocolate chips

4.  Mix all wet ingredients together

5.  Combine all ingredients then stir in chocolate chips

6.  Spread mixture evenly in the casserole dish and place in oven

7.  Bake for 22-25 minutes, until golden brown

8.  Remove and let sit for about 10 minutes before cutting

9.  Cut into bars and let cool completed before removing from baking dish

Cooks' note:
How-to video can be found here:http://goo.gl/UGTMd I added an egg in my original recipe, but it is not needed which makes it great for people with egg allergies. Also, I have substituted a cup of puffed quinoa and used only 2 cups of oats and they also turned out beautifully. Be creative and let me know what you try!
