Butter Bun with Vanilla Butter Cream Filling

Hi Friends, hope everyone have started a blissful week ahead, today's recipe is going to be butter buns. Soft buttery buns filled with a rich cream is the characteristic of these Buns. This can be served for dinner for parties or as a snack. I think that you all should give this a try and let me know what you think.

serves: 5-6

For Dough:

1 cup Flour

2 tbsp Melted Butter

2 tbsp Sugar

1 cup Warm Milk

1 tbsp Yeast

pinch a of Salt

For Filling:

100 grams Butter

2 tbsp Icing Sugar

1 tsp Vanilla Essence

1.  Mix yeast, sugar with warm milk and set aside for 5 min. It will turn foamy.

2.  In a mixing bowl, add flour and salt, mix well.

3.  Pour in the yeast mixture and form a soft dough, then pour in the melted butter and knead for 5 min. Let it sit for 30 min or until it doubles in size.

4.  Punch the air out of it and knead for 5 min.

5.  Make mixture into small balls and arrange on a foil lined tray. Let it rest for 30 more min or until doubles in size.

6.  Preheat the oven to 200°C(400°F)

7.  Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15-20 min or until the top gets golden.

8.  Remove this from the oven and let it cool completely.

9.  Meanwhile make the filling by beating butter, sugar & vanilla till fluffy.

10.  When the buns are cooled cut them in the middle and put a dollop of filling in this, spreading it evenly. Cover with the other half and serve.
