Scrumptious bhaji served with masala pav

For Bhaji:

2 Potatoes, Medium,Boiled,Meshed

1 Capsicum, Chopped

2 small Tomatoes, Pureed

1 small Onion, Chopped

3 tbsp Ginger-Garlic Paste

Juice of Half Lime

Fistful Green Peas, Boiled, Meshed

Butter, as per need

Salt

1/4 tsp Sugar

1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Red Chili Powder

4 tbsp Pav Bhaji Masala

1 tsp Coriander Powder

1 tbsp Kasoori Methi

pinch a of Red Food Color

For Garnish:

Lemon Wedges

Chopped Cilantro

Chopped Tomato

Chopped Onion

For Masala Pav:

Pav / Bread (Check my recipe for Homemade Pav)

preparation

1.  On a flat tava or a wide pan, add butter. When the butter is melted and hot, add potatoes,capsicum,onion,green peas.

2.  Add salt and fry on high flame possible. Mesh the vegetables with vegetable masher.

3.  Add ginger garlic paste , tomato puree and cook further.

4.  Sprinkle water on vegetables being cooked and add sugar.

5.  Add red chili powder, turmeric powder, kasoori methi and little more butter.

6.  Add more water to vegetables, mesh further until they are unrecognizable.

7.  Add food color.

8.  Add Pav bhaji masala, coriander powder, lemon juice, salt.

9.  Cook further adding more water and butter, depending on the consistency of bhaji you want.

10.  When serving, provide chopped onion tomato,cilantro and lemon wedges and add a dollop of butter on bhaji.

11.  Serve Hot!!

12.  For Masala Pav:

13.  On the tava, add butter, add pav bhaji masala and coriander powder.

14.  Mix well.

15.  Split the pav vertically and place it on tava above the masala and cover it well.

16.  Let it get soften a bit and serve with bhaji.
