Blueberry Basil Bruschetta

A simple & easy appetizer made with fresh blueberries, basil, goat cheese & sourdough bread...make in less than 15 minutes & serve!

1 sourdough baguette

1 container 1-pound sweetened goat cheese

2 pints fresh basil

12 large basil leaves

1.  Slice the baguette into not worry if some slices are a little thicker than others.

2.  Spread goat cheese on each baguette slice.

3.  Chiffonade the basil.

4.  Place fresh blueberries on the goat cheese & sprinkle a few ribbons over the blueberries.

5.  Arrange the bruschette on a platter & serve.

Cooks' note:
This is a great appetizer to have your kids help with spreading the goat cheese & placing the berries on the goat cheese...have them sprinkle the basil & you are done in no time!
