Moist, nutty strawberry cake

10 oz unsweetened, frozen strawberries, thawed (1 1/2 cups)

3/4 cup sugar

2/3 cup oil

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups flour

2 tablespoons flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup chopped nuts

1 cup diced strawberries

Glaze

3/4 cup powdered sugar

1 tablespoon undiluted milk

3 drops red food coloring

preparation

1.  Preheat oven to 375°.

2.  Grease and flour a 13x9 inch cake pan.

3.  In a large bowl, combine strawberries, sugar, oil and eggs with an electric mixer.

4.  Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.

5.  Add in the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.

6.  Beat until thoroughly combined.

7.  Fold in the nuts.

8.  Fold in the diced strawberries.

9.  Pour batter into prepared pan.

10.  Bake at 375° for 35 minutes.

11.  Cool in pan for 20 minutes.

12.  Loosen edges and remove from pan to a wire rack.

13.  In a small bowl, combine the glaze ingredients.

14.  Mix until smooth.

15.  Spread glaze over warm cake.
