Beef Bhuna Bangladesh

Bhuna is dried curry Bangladesh, which should be stirred constantly until water dried and spices permeated. Similiar with Indonesia curry, we call beef rendang. But for cook not long time like beef rendang from Padang.

700 grs beef.

1 medium onion, roughly chopped.

1 tbsp ginger and garlic paste.

4 green cayenne pepper (if you can put more or less, as you like).

1 tsp ground coriander.

1 tsp ground cumin.

1/2 tsp ground turmeric.

1 1/2 tsp ground black pepper.

4 cms cinnamon.

2 bay leaves.

4 cardamoms.

5 cloves.

1 medium tomato, thinly sliced.

2 tbsp plain yogurt.

Salt is required.

Vegetable oil is required.

1.  Preheat oil into a frying pan. Sautè onion, ginger and garlic paste, and salt until fragrant.

2.  Add coriander, cumin, turmeric, black pepper, cinnamon, bay leaves, cardamom and cloves until fragrant.

3.  Add tomato, and stir until tomato is liquid.

4.  Add beef and plain yougurt, stir until beef and spices combine evenly.

5.  Cook with high flame until water of meat out, reduce flame with low flame. Stir occasionally until water dried and meat cooked.

6.  Ready to be served as a side dish.
