1 bunch of long beans (250 grams, depends)

1/2 cup of freshly sliced coconut pieces.

1/2 cup freshly cut Coconut pieces

3 cloves Garlic crushed

1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder

1 tsp Red Chilly Powder

3 tbsp Oil

1 Dry Red Chily.

1 sprig Curry Leaves

Salt to taste.

1.  Http://

2.  Remove the ends of beans with your hands or with a knife.

3.  Cut them into 1" pieces. Set aside.

4.  Cut the Shallots and keep it aside.

5.  Heaot oil in a pan. Add the crushed garlic and dry red chilly. Sauté it.

6.  Add the Shallots and sauté it till it turns golden colour.

7.  Add the Curry leaves.

8.  Now add the Turmeric Powder and sauté it.

9.  Add the chopped long beans. Sauté it for a while.

10.  If you find it is dry, sprinkle little water and mix until beans is cooked.

11.  Serve it with hot rice.

Cooks' note:
You can use coconut oil to get its authentic taste.
