I have never ever been a fan of A1 steak sauce. However...this is the BEST meatloaf I have ever made. I served with mashed potatoes and fried squash.




ingredients

1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce, divided

2 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped (optional)

1 cup fresh break crumbs

1/3 cup A1 Original Sauce

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

preparation

1.  Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2.  Reserve half the tomato sauce. Mix remaining tomato sauce with remaining ingredients.

3.  Press meat mixture into 9x5 inch loaf pan.

4.  Bake 1 hour or until done, draining fat and topping meatloaf with reserved sauce after 50 minutes.
