These are rolls that anyone can make easily. I literally make a triple batch twice a week! I can guarantee that you've never had a better roll. I found the recipe at Real Mom Kitchen, but adapted it myself.

Original Recipe Yield: 6 servings (12 rolls)


  • 1 1/8 cup warm water
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 cups flour

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.


In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine water, oil, yeast, and sugar. Allow mixture to rest for 15 minutes.


With a dough hook, mix in salt and eggs and 2 of the cups flour until combined. Add remaining flour ½ cup at a time.


Shape dough into 12 balls and let rest for 10 minutes.


Place rolls in a greased 9×13 pan or baking sheet. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes until tops are golden brown.

Cooks' note:
You don't have to use a stand mixer for this recipe, although I do recommend one.

Here, I have also presented the Valentines special egg roll (heart shaped), it looks so cute & also easy to make it. I learned this technique from Aeris kitchen. Thank you Aeris.. To shape rolls, round the dough slightly to tighten its surface. Weigh it so you know how much you have and how to divide it. You'll need about 2 1/2 ounces per roll. Cinnamon rolls are made with a basic dough flavored with vanilla, orange zest, and cinnamon, covered with a sweet filling, rolled up, and then sliced to make the rolls. You can make cinnamon rolls with regular yeast or you can use a natural starter to give them more flavor. Both methods are given here. Makes 2 pounds dough, enough for 10 cinnamon rolls.
