  • 2 cups home made raw cashew milk
  • 1 cup overfilled of stewed organic apples or unsweetened pure organic applesauce
  • 3 tbsp agave, or more to taste
  • 2 tsp natural vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch Celtic sea salt
  • * 1 tbsp non GM lecithin (optional)

Throw everything in your blender (I like to use a Vitamix) and purée until smooth and creamy.


Add in some more sweetener to taste, and if you want a creamier smoothie, put in some non-GM lecithin. But I don’t think it needs it. ENJOY!

It's that time of year again.. pumpkin has exploded and flavored anything and everything in its path! It almost feels like Starbucks dictates the beginning of fall depending on when they bring the pumpkin flavor back. Apples make great pies because they don't release a lot of liquid, which can make the crust soggy. Buy tart apples, preferably heirloom varieties from a local farmers' market. The sliced apples are tossed with a small amount of flour to thicken what little liquid they do release.
