Stir 1 cup broth into the pan drippings from roasted turkey in a roasting pan and stir. Pour the drippings into a measuring cup. Skim and reserve fat.

Add enough melted butter if necessary to the reserved fat to make 1/4 cup.

Add enough broth to the drippings to measure 2 cups of total liquid.

Pour the 1/4 cup fat into a saucepan and stir in flour.

Add broth mixture to flour mixture in saucepan and stir.

Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.

Season to taste with salt and pepper.
