  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 3 tbsp corn oil
  • 1 lb fresh ground turkey
  • 1 can (12 ounces) whole kernel corn
  • 1 large potato, peeled and diced
  • 1 can (16 ounces) tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 3 cups boiling water
  • 2/3 cup canned evaporated milk

Directions:

In a large kettle saute onion in oil.

Add turkey, cook and stir until it turns light brown.

Add remaining ingredients and stir well, except milk.

Cover and bring just to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 30 minutes..

Just before serving, remove rom heat and slowly stir in milk.
