Cook ground turkey in a skillet with pepper and onion until the meat is no longer pink.

Stir in the pasta sauce and heat through.

In a large bowl mix ricotta cheese and shredded cheese. Add Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix well.

Place lasagna noodles on the bottom of the slow cooker. Cover with 1/3 of the meat mixture, followed by 1/3 of the cheese mixture. Repeat twice. You may finish with noodles on top, sprinkling them with Parmesan cheese at the end of the cooking process, or leave the cheese mixture on top.

Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.

I had to give slow cooker salsa a try, I could live on salsa and chips alone if I had too! And I love bringing salsa and chips to summer barbecues, everyone seems to go crazy for it. This recipe for slow cooker salsa makes about 2 quarts of salsa! Enough for a big crowd, or you could freeze the leftovers in plastic containers.

I am a bit of a picky eater when it comes to eating other peoples food, especially when it comes to ground beef. I hated ground beef as a child and the one thing that I really didn't like was chili, as an adult though I have come to like my own slow cooker chili. This is the recipe I follow. I add the 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs and the chopped onion to the meat as it is being browned.
