Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cup biscuit mix
  • 1/4 cup dairy sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 can (15 1/2 ounces) Mexican style chili beans
  • 1/2 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup diced fresh tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup grated Monterey Jack cheese

Directions:

Blend together biscuit mix, sour cream and egg to form a soft dough.

Spread dough evenly on the bottom an sided of a pan.

Brown the beef in a skillet, our off excess fat.

Add salt, onion and beans; spoon into the crust.

Bake in preheated 425 degree F oven to 30 minutes.

Top with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.
