Original Recipe Yield: 6-8 servings
 

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 1 package (8 ounces) elbow macaroni, cooked and drained
  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 pound mozzarella or Cheddar cheese slices
  • * choice of pizza toppings (sausage, salami, olives, anchovies, etc)

Directions:

1

Place the meat and onion together in two 9 inch pie plates in 425 degree F oven; stir

Top with macaroni. Blend the 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce, water and seasonings; pour over macaroni and toss.

Top with cheese and pizza toppings; pour on remaining tomato sauce.

4

Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven for 15 minutes.
