"Funeral Potatoes" is the name of this popular dish in Utah, frequently seen at funerals. The majority of the U.S. calls this simply: Hash Brown Casserole.

1 bag (32 oz) frozen (shredded or cubed) hash brown potatoes, lightly thawed

1 oz (10.5) can condensed cream of chicken soup

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup grated Parmesan

1 1/2 tsp kosher salt

1/2 tsp ground black pepper

2 cups shredded sharp yellow Cheddar or Monterey Jack Cheese

1 1/2 cups lightly crushed corn flake cereal
