Baked Classic Apple Pie during Father's Day, well because my dad loves to eat apple! :D

140 gr all purpose flour

4 gr salt

56 gr butter

4 tbsp cold water

1 apple

1/4 cup of sugar

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1 Egg wash for brushing on crust

classic-apple-pie-6076.jpg 1.  In a bowl, stir in the flour and salt.

2.  Add in the butter and mix it thoroughly with your hands, just like making a dough. When the dough holds together, place in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes.

3.  After 10 minutes, remove the flour mixture from the fridge, add in the water and stir it thoroughly until the mixture comes together.

4.  Shape the dough and then wrap it in plastic wrap, chill it in the fridge for about 30 minutes to 1 hour.

5.  While waiting for the dough to be chilled, lets make the filling for the pie. First of all, cut the apples into small sizes and then toss it with sugar and cinnamon and then set aside.

6.  After 30 minutes or 1 hour, take out the dough, roll the dough and then drape the dough over a round baking dish and gently fit it up the sides.

7.  Pour the apple filling into the crust, and then lay leftover dough on top of the apples, so as to cover up the apple.

8.  Brush the pie crust with egg wash [don’t put too much, because it will burn the crust :p, just like what I did] and then sprinkle with some sugar on top.

9.  Bake the apple pie at 425°F for approximately at 15-20 minutes.

10.  Let it cool, serve and enjoy! :D
