Directions:

1

Combine the vodka, hard cider, and 2 ciders in a cocktail shaker......taste, and add a little syrup, if desired, according to taste.

2

Add a little ice and shake gently......remember, some of the ciders are carbonated......strain into martini glasses, add a slice of apple & a tiny piece of dry ice...wow!

Cooks' note:
If you cannot find hard pumpkin cider or ale, you can use additional hard apple cider.
I prefer the martinis not to be too sweet...if you need a little extra sweetness, then make brown sugar simple syrup...I recommend making this the day before so that it is cold when making the martinis.
Keep all ingredients in the fridge so that everything is cold...this will require less shaking...& less mess because of the carbonation, which will cause the martini to explode everywhere if you shake too hard...trust me, I know...

This is a drink The Husband loves and always asks me to make this time of year. I like to get up on Christmas Eve morning and start it in the crockpot and by noon it’s perfect. Nothing better than some hot apple cider while you watch your favorite Christmas movie.
