Directions:

1

In a medium skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy, about 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Drain the bacon on paper towels, reserving the fat in the skillet. Cook the onion in the fat over medium heat until tender, about y minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the garlic and thyme. Continue to cook until the garlic has softened, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Transfer the onion mixture to a small bowl and let cool. Finely chop the bacon.

2

In a medium bowl, mix the ground chuck with the Worcestershire, salt, pepper, Tabasco, the onion mixture, and the bacon. Shape into 4 patties, each about 3/4 inch thick.

3

Grill the patties over Direct High heat until medium, 8 to 10 minutes, turning once. During the last minute of grilling place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt, and grill the hamburger buns, cut side down, until toasted. Serve warm, with tomatoes, ketchup, and/or mustard.

I prefer to use crumbled blue cheese, available in almost all cheese sections, in the burger mix, then a creamier blue cheese, such as Saga or Cambozola, for melting…both ..

I've seen many talented bloggers making beautiful Swiss Rolls with eggs separated method and created amazing patterns on the sponge. I had already tried the sponge new method on my Durian Ice Cream Roll and to my surprise the sponge is really very soft and easy to roll too. So today I made another sponge to go with my favorite Mark and Spencer strawberry jam. The jam has a nice rosy color and ..
