Carrie's Experimental Kitchen - I'm a wife and mother who loves looking around the kitchen, seeing what I have on hand and creating a meal that is simple yet delicious. I love the freshness of Mediterranean-style cooking and most of my recipes reflect that.

Gorgonzola cheese is a veined blue cheese produced mainly in the northern region of Italy. This, paired with fresh rosemary and sun-dried tomatoes, make a great appetizer or vegetarian lunch.

The fresh pomegranate juice combined with limes and cilantro made this chicken deliciously moist and flavorful.
The avocado adds a creaminess to this salad and the beets take on the wonderfully light and refreshing flavors of the lime and cilantro.

The pumpkin sage sauce goes wonderfully with the sweet potato gnocchi and is a favorite around our home during the holidays.
